Empowering Safety Through Local COmmunity Involvement

On February 1st, Taurus was honored to partner with MSTI Safety Education Team and ICS Incorporated TX to present a Grinder Safety Presentation to Angleton Independent School District.
ICS Incorporated TX is a family owned and operated company which offers turnkey general contracting services to customers along the Gulf Coast Region. In collaboration with Taurus Industrial Group and the MSTI Safety Education Team, industry leaders presented on grinder safety, inspiring safety in young skilled workers at Angleton Independent School District. This presentation educated students on the intricacies of grinder inspection and proper handling, emphasizing the importance of safety measures in industrial settings.
Joshua Beacom and Joe Reyes, members of the MSTI Safety education Team, led the presentation which delved into various aspects of grinder safety such as the importance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the consequences of not abiding by safety rules. In addition, students learned how to properly hold a grinder and other essential knowledge crucial for their future endeavors in the industry.
This collaborative effort between MSTI and Taurus IG demonstrates the commitment to empowering safety in the next generation of skilled workers. At Taurus, we believe that by educating students on safety protocols early on, we are preparing them for their future careers.
Our commitment to safety extends beyond the classroom as we are proud to support the carpentry class by donating hard hats. This donation ensures that students have access to the necessary equipment to stay safe in all their projects.
