Test, study and research various materials using analytical instruments such as FTIR, melt indexer to create new polymer product in accordance with marketing requirement. Set up new testing methods in Total Management Quality System including using Pi Tag to create new function in order to reach company paperless policy, decrease the environment impact and monitor the polymer quality during production activity. Design procedures for the process of on-line polymer pellet transport analyzing system in order to optimize product validation criteria. Test and analyze the routine and non-routine polymer samples using analytical instruments including melt index analyzer, energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence analyzer, Fourier transform infrared spectrometer, density meter, yellowness index meter and haze meter to control polymer quality to meet the product criteria. Analyze particle residue in wastewater from production facility for their environment impact in accordance with the consent decree. Prepare reports and proposals as required. Develop and updated pyrolysis gas chromatography-mass spectrometry testing procedure to supplement the routine testing done on the wastewater coming from production facility. Monitor the wastewater that the plant discharges and check to see if it is being properly treated before being released. Prepare reports and proposals as required.
Requires bachelor’s degree in materials engineering or chemical engineering or closely related with 2 years of relevant experience or master’s degree in materials engineering or chemical engineering or closely related.
